Safari passwords setting

I keep having to login and re enter website passwords each time I return to a webpage/site after shortly leaving it.

eg. Twitter, I have a quick read then go back to it later. I login and click the remember me box but I still have to re log in the next time.

Is there a setting somewhere that I'm failing to see, to avoid keep having to re-enter Logins and Passwords?

It's clicked on 'Only from site I visit'

It's possible as IE is out of date. However, it probably has more to do with the preference settings for IE. Make sure it's not deleting cookies whenever it shuts down. You can check that by opening its preferences.

Better yet, convince your wife to use Safari or at least Firefox. Both are many times faster and more secure than IE.
