leopard installation problem after HDD upgrade...

15' MacBook Pro: 2.4GHz, 4GB Memory, 200GB Hard drive
So i just installed a new HDD: seagate 7200.4 rpm 500g bought from New Egg. I followed the installation instructions on other world computing and everything went fine. Now I'm trying to boot from a retail copy of leopard. The problem occurs at the "Select a Destination" screen: it doesn't show any drive to install leopard to. Does anyone have any answers...i'm starting to get worried. TIA
