Hi,

I'm looking for a piece of inexpensive software that will handle a few simple firewall rules for me. What I would like is a simple ON/OFF state where I allow ZERO traffic apart from a set of user specified IP ranges.

I do understand this can easily be done using the built in firewall IPFW. However, I made an attempt to understand it and it seems too technical for me.

Is there a piece of software that will do this job that I can buy/download?

Thanks.

While "Little Snitch" will work OK, it's not free. ($29.95). "NoobProof" is free and adds an easy to use GUI interface to the IPFW so that any "Noob" can configure it. If I can configure it, I'm sure you can too. :)

NoobProof download.

Regards.
