Find Original File Date

iMac Aluminum 20"
So I have some pictures that have mysteriously changed the create date to just two days ago when I know that they are from 2007. Anyway software out there that will find this original date?

None that I know of. Do you have a backup? That would tell you, if the mysterious date changed after the last time the file was backed up. If you don't have a backup plan, get one.
