Waking up from sleep mode

When waking up from sleep mode all macbooks make this weird almost disk spinning sound. However the past few days I have noticed that the sound isnt as prenounced as before and is now basically a click. It doesn't affect the computer at all I am just wondering will this cause problems in the future? Thanks for the help in advance.

Hahaha ok umm sorry about the kinda general statement but for those of you whose macbooks does make a noise any ideas?
