Ipod Touch icon: where is it?

15" MBP

hi, when i plug the Ipod I can only view it on Itunes and not on the "Finder".

is there a way to view it on there?

thanks, bob, but i checked that already.

checked apple support docs and it says it's normal behavior for the Touch. can that be true?

There is no disk mode for the iPhone or iPod touch, hence why it doesn't show up in Finder like a regular iPod would. You need third party software to get that ability with the iPod touch.
