Well i'm using 10.3, which i have made to look a lot like 10.5, and i was wondering how i could change the dock, like it's shape etc. Please no links to things like transparentdock, or shapeshifter etc. Thnx!

10.3 May not have the capabilities to handle the kind of dock you're looking for. Older operating systems can only keep up and emulate the newer ones to a certain point.

well, if those don't work, which file controls how the dock is drawn in 10.3?

Sorry, but it's unlikely that those here with any knowledge of 10.3 haven't already seen your post. The ones I'm aware of, if they knew, they would have posted already. The vast majority of users here never touched a Mac prior to Intel and 10.4.

I'd suggest trying to find a developers forum instead of a users forum.

Even then, there are probably not many developers still working or even interested in 10.3 any longer. There's no money to be made there. But you might find someone that remembers that stuff.
