I closed my MacBook yesterday to move rooms and it now won't start up. I've tried the fixes in the short cut thread and none of them work.

I've also tried taking out the battery, holding the power button, waiting and then putting the battery back in and try to power up. It's dead, apart from the camera light to the right of the camera flashing on and off when I try and start up.

Does anyone have any ideas.

PS it's about 18months old.

Thanks

Sounds like something went wrong with your logic board. Do you hear any beeps when you try to turn it on? If so, how many? My old MacBook wouldnt start up and it would give about 10 beeps. Turns out my logic board was displaced.

hope this helps
