So the only comment I have on all this is that decent money management software is sadly lacking for Mac.

totally agree, have spent some time looking for a good home finance package, to no avail. someone needs to plug that hole.

regards to Entourage, i'm not sure what all the moaning is about, it's significantly better than mail and i use outlook at work and prefer entourage full stop.

getting it "out-the-box" is a hot look as fair as i'm concerned. is it f.o.c. though?

Tried iBank? Seems to get some good reviews.

Agree with cw107. iBank is a good home finance and on line banking program - very much like the later versions of MS Money. However, I would first check with your financial institution before purchasing any on line banking program. Most banks automatically support Quicken and MS Money - which are the two most popular.

Regards.

I agree I like outlook and all to be honest, but mail does everything I need.

The biggest problem I have is nothing on Mail can be edited.
I have to save many many e-mails, and the subject line has to be changed, Outlook allows that.

Perhaps you should create folders by the subject you want to organize them in and drop the messages there.

Thank god for Outlook coming. Entourage is horrible, and Mail isnt that great either.

My iphone sync'd way better with outlook then it ever did with Entourage, Mail, iCal, etc!

They all suck, they just suck differently.

Mail is simple and works for me. It keeps saying the server can't be trusted or something but I only need to press enter every-time I load the problem. It only shows the message once per execution.

I keep getting the occasional request for my MSN account's password in Mail...this all started after I linked my Windows 7 computer account with my Windows Live ID. Big mistake apparently, because I'm really tired of having to re-enter my password, and keep checking "Store credentials in Keychain".

I would love to see a copy of Publisher for Mac only so that I don't have to fire up Windows every time I need to open a Publisher file.

Nobody "needs" a Publisher file. That program is not capable of outputting anything an intelligent person would want to read.

As they said about Publisher when I worked in the graphics arts fields: KILL IT WITH FIRE!!

PS. Microsoft discontinued Money last summer.
