Does anyone know if I can replace my silver 2008 macbook pro keyboard with one of the new black key 2009 keyboards? Ever since I got a mac external keyboard, I've found that I like the newer style better, but I don't know if they're compatable.

If your referring to the new "Chicklet" style keyboard, then no.

Don't know how the newer (black) keys "attach" to the keyboard, but if they are identical then you should be able to find a set of keys for sale on e-bay or something like that. Then just switch them out. That would be simpler than replacing the entire keyboard
But again, it depends on how the keys are attached and if everything fits into the same keyboard space. You might want to look into that.
