hi

i've been using konfabulator widgets becos i liked the analog clock

imagine my surprise when finding this tip which shows the mac already has it's very own customisable clock (another hidden secret)

try this

Open System Preferences:
Apple > System preferences

Double click on Date & Time

Select the Clock tab.

If you have the "normal" settings you have the View in: set as Menu Bar. However, if you choose window, the time and date appear in a little window which you can move all around the screen. This window displays the date, time & day.

Also if you would like to change the clock features feel free to do so under the View As: section.

kind regards

Actually that's no "hidden" secret, as the setting to enable it is not hidden. If you have set your clock to window instead of menu bar, and set it to analog, you will get a nice looking analog clock...just a hint
