Line In (Sound input) has dissapeared ! :(

Line In (Sound input) has disappeared !

Hi Everyboady,
my problem is that after i have installed Mac OS 10.5.8 update in my System Preferences/Sound/Sound Input - has disappeared Line In (see link bellow). When I boot from 10.4, everything is OK.
This is very big problem for me becouse I use external MIDI sound module and I use Line In daily

PROBLEM HAS BEEN SUCCESFULLY SOLVED!
Hi again, after trying to repair disc permisions, restart PRAM etc. I decided to reinstall OS and stay on 10.5.7. When I was downloading combined update I bethink of utility Audio and MIDI Setup (Apps/Utilities...) and there are both - Line In and Internal Microphone! Voila! And the best in the end - when i choose Line In there, In System Preferences disappears Internal Microfone. Beutiful, ins't it?
