Upgrade mac mini to tiger?

I have just recieved my mac mini and was wondering if i would recieve any discount on upgrading to tiger since I bought it so close to the rumor about when tiger will come out.

The usual time period is 30 days, I think. If Tiger comes out within 30 days, you might qualify for a free upgrade. 31 days, and you're out.

I thought the time period was ten days of release.

Is it a good idea for me to go out and buy tiger for my iBook G4 the day its released??


Or should I wait???

The Apple web site says purchases from April 12th (today) and on get a free upgrade. Otherwise sounds like you are SOL and will have to pay the full price.

It appears that Apple Tiger release is coming out on April 29.

According to /. someone was able to talk apple's tech support into letting him have it for the 10$, even though he ordered about a week ago.

Me and 4 of my friends are chipping in to get it together for about $40 each. But were waiting until 10.4.1 comes out.
