I know there are already lots of posts about wireless cards for old macs, but I was wondering if this orangeware driver changed things up.
I'm trying to get a wireless card for my old Airport Original compatible 700 MHz G4 iMac. Other posts mention that only cards with a broadcom chipset would work instead of the airport original card, and only certain older cards had the broadcom chipset, but apparently this orangeware driver solves that problem: Wireless Driver for Mac OS X
Has anyone tried this? Does this mean any PCI card with an atheros chipset would work? would there be problems with the chip fitting inside the imac? thanks for reading!
