Had it since Q1 2008 & it's been fine, until yesterday. When using my volume keys [top right of keypad] they don't work. My function keys [F1 - F12] are jumbled i.e. F12 is Dashboard instead of increase volume, F11 = windows not volume redeuce, F10 = Number of windows instead of volume mute. Also, now my Macbook 'speaks' e.g. when i type it's sounding my commands. When I click on an icon it says e.g. volume "49% volume menu" or if I click on the date it tells me it...

What has happened to my computer:[ do these symptoms sound familar, can anyone assist me? Many thanks in advance.

Firstly - apologies for incorrect forum
Secondly - more importantly many thanks for solving my issue, must've switched on the 'VoiceOver' by pressing command+F5. Issue resolved, happy Mac user again... Have a gr8 one!
