I'm a mac newbie, and I am trying to get rid of XP pro and get my memory back, unfortunately I followed some flawed instructions, and now I'm in a different mess as well.

What I was told to do, is to simply drop vmware fusion into the trash bin and everything that I could find involved with XP pro. I have done so, but later I read that there is a proper way to uninstall such things is there a way to do a system recovery? Or to do re-do this despite my previous actions?

I'm not sure how to use time-machine, I didn't set up a date before hand, any suggestions?

Thanks.

In Documents > Virtual Machines you should see the Fusion VM's. You can just trash those and free up the massive amount of space they take. Make sure those are gone.
