I just tried turning on my macbook pro (2009 model) but it would not turn on and I noticed that it was hot to the touch so I immediately removed the power supply and I kept my finger on the power button until it eventually turned on after about 5 seconds.
It seems to be running fine now but i am worried about the heat issue, I am sure that when i left it this morning it had a full charge so i don't know what could have caused it to heat up like that on it's own while it was turned off.
I did a search but i was not able to find much. I know it could possbly be a battery related issue but i am not sure. I was wondering if there was anything i could do to try and narrow down the problem.
