Apple Hardware for Iphone applications

Hi, I am a software engineer and for last 7 years i am designing softwares in VB6 & Vb.net, now i want to learn iphone applications, can some one help me which hardware is good for me for designing iphone applications???

how about a mac and an iphone?

You just really need a Mac and that is it.

If you're looking for the cheapest possible route, get a Mac Mini. If I'm not mistaken, you need an Intel Mac so if you do buy a second hand machine, make sure it's an Intel Mac.

Mac Mini, and an ipod touch. Although there is simulator there is no feeling in how the application actually works in your hands. I say iPod touch because you pay one time, and don't have to pay for other services.
