G3 iBook 640MHz - it's old, but fun to play with
I have a G3 iBook with OS 10.4.11 on it. I have a Samsung ML-2510 printer hooked into my network through a Linksys PSUS4 print server. The system can see the print server (configured with AppleTalk), and I have it using the ML-2510 driver from the CD, but when I print, it initializes the printer, then never prints the file.

If I hook up the printer directly to the USB port on the laptop, it works fine.

Any ideas on what config changes I need to make to get the printer working from the print server?

Thanks,

Dominic

I figured out my own problem

The issue was as follows:

I had the print server set up as an Appletalk device, but set the data stream as Binary in the admin tool on my WinXP system. I changed the setting to ASCII, reinstalled the printer on the iBook and selected the ML-2510 driver that I had installed earlier and it worked!:)
