how long does it take when sending macbook pro to apple?

So i went to bestbuy today because theres no apple store near me because my heafphone jack broke, so they said they need to send it to apple to fix it, and they said it would take about 3 weeks and they'd call me when it is finished.

so does it really take 3 weeks? that seems like a rather long time just to fix a headphone jack.

It's not about how hard, easy, or complicated your computer is to fix...it depends on how many people are ahead of you getting their computers repaired.
