Did they ever make the 17in Macbook Pro Unibody with a 2.53ghz proccessor, someone I selling one that I am interested in buying, but it doesn't make sense because I cannot find anything online making me think this computer is legit. So does anyone know if it's possible and if Apple sold them?

The early and late 2008 MacBook Pro 17" shipped with either a 2.5 or 2.6 GHZ processor but neither of them had a unibody. It wasn't until the early 2009 models came out that the unibody was used but the processor was upgraded to 2.66 and 2.93 GHZ.

The above info is according to MacTracker.

Regards.

Mine is a 17" unibody with the "slowest" processor and it is indeed a 2.66GHz. I would be very leery of this seller.
