Guys,

I tried searching for a link where I could learn all the details on the potentials for viruses on a Mac since mine has been acting up a bit, so I have only 5 questions:

- Is it normal for Mac's to need to be restarted randomly, say once or twice a week while browsing (safari)?
- Other than the "famous" torrent that got out, are there any other viruses we should be aware of?
- Can XXX sites "infect" a MacBook?
- How do you resolve any problems with performance?
- Could it be tied to bad RAM (Corsair)?

Thanks!

Too much porn is probably not bad for your macbook if you're running OS X. Just for your wiener. Do yourself a favor and lay off! Go find a lady!

Try repairing permissions, cleaning diskspace if you're less than 25% of your original drive's capacity (aka stop saving porn to disk haha), maybe get onyx and run some maintenance? Corsair is usually pretty good from my understanding (I may be completely wrong on that, but I think they've got a good rep), and "bad" RAM usually just stops being recognized I am pretty sure. So if you're worried about your RAM, see how much your laptop is recognizing.

That's all I got.

Hahaha! Good one... and I actually only do that on the WEEKDAYS! Weekends I'm on the hunt...

What do you mean repair permissions? What is the best way to "clean" your computer of any bad stuff? Is there malware for Mac?
