I can't remember if this is something new that has happened recently or if it has always been that way, but I can see the previews for various other graphic types (PDFs, TIFs).
As I was typing this I tested a few more file types and these also do not display a preview: PNG, GIF
Any thoughts why this is happening?
Many of the files I am looking at were originally on a PC or my work network and then copied over to my MacBook Pro.
