iTunes wont detect iphone

okay so heres the problem i have the latest itunes and iphone firmware i have jailbroken it with redsn0w-win 0.7.1. i am running windows xp office edition and this has never happened before. i plug my iphone in and the scanner and camera wizard comes up and thats it...itunes doesnt detect it or anything. so i treied putting it into recovery mode and then i got a message sayin that it need to locate a driver and asked me to insert a cd which of course i dont have. can someone help me with this problem

Do you have AVG antivirus? If yes, the latest update breaks iTunes. You need to reinstall iTunes, and see if you can stop AVG from deleting iTunes related files.
