Will a 12.5 mm HDD Fit

I just saw the new 1 TB HDD from western digital came out today and it seems to be pretty thick. has anyone put a 12.5 mm drive into their machines? Or will it fit in the older MBP's with no problem. I Have a Mid-2007 17" MBP Heres the Link to the drive.

same here, very interested to find out if it will fit in an early 2008 MBP.

doing some research on world wide web it looks like it will fit. i'm just a little confused on what the interface speeds mean. anyone have any info on this?

Probably not as it is a different size to the standard 2.5" laptop HDD. See this link from WD:-

The standard 2.5" laptop drive is 9.5mm.
