Hi, I recently got a Powermac G5 given to me because it has some issues. First when you press the power button, you don't always hear the chime. If you do, the screen will stay at the apple logo and the fans will go full blast. I tried booting without the hard drive in, just from cd and only once was I able to boot to Techtools but it froze before I could run any tests. I tried different ram and placing it in the correct slots, but the issue continues. I also reset the SMU. Other times it powers on, but I do not hear a chime and nothing shows on display and eventually the fans kick on full blast. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
