Old Mac game wont play on new Mac

So I have a pretty new IMAC. the big one. I puchased it like last year. and i have this game from 1997.i want to play on my new mac, but it says classic enviroment not supported. is there anything i can download, that will enable me to play the game? Thanks

Don't bother trying emulators and the like just too slow. Do a Google and see if the game is available in a later version.
