CrossOver For Mac

I'm trying to play Final Fantasy 7: Ultima Edition, using CrossOver for Mac. When I try to open the FF7:Configuration or the game or anything, it just makes a black screen, blinks a couple of times, then does nothing. When I open the configuration, the window will open, but it'll be blank. When I drag another window over it, you can see the text and such like it should be, but I can't press anything besides 'Ok'.

When I tried to download the Yamaha Synthesizer, it said that I needed Windows 95 or later, even though I used the Windows 2000 bottle to install FF7 on.

Am I supposed to somehow update some drivers or something or the sort?

Not all games work with Crossover, check compatibility on Crossover website. I could not see FF7 on the list. You may be better off with Bootcamp than Crossover here:

Well, that's stupid. It'll download it and everything, but it won't play it? Is there anything I can do to make it play?

I don't have a 'genuine' version of Windows for Bootcamp :/.
