Hi all

I'm currently running OS 10.4 on my MacBook, and have decided that I will upgrade to 10.6 in September when it is released. However, I am about to purchase the new Logic Studio to use over this summer, but it apparently only runs on 10.5

If I upgrade to 10.5 now, will it be cheaper to upgrade to 10.6 in September, and if so, how much cheaper?

Thanks a lot :)

Yup, 10.6 is $29 for Leopard users, or $129 for anyone else. So you will get it cheaper because you have Leopard, but will end up spending $158 total (plus taxes of course). If you need Leopard now, you might as well get it and just have to spend the extra $29.
