I've got lots of issues with Exchange 2003 public calendar and Entourage 2008 and was wondering if it's me or if Entourage is just being useless.

Just the biggies for now...

Got a computer phobic boss who needs things simple and straightforward and bought a Mac because they were simple and not confusing (his words). Of course telling him to get a PC if he wants the same functionality as the rest of the office is like telling him he has to sell his children.

First off, how does he post an event from Entourage to the public calendar? Whenever he tries to post to the public calendar, it just ends up in his private calendar (and requiring him to enter people to invite). OK, a kludge is to then copy it to the public folder but that's just something that he shouldn't need to do and will probably forget to do.

Secondly, whenever someone sends him a meeting request for a meeting placed in the public calendar, whilst he gets an email notification he doesn't get the opportunity to accept or decline and it only appears in the public calendar and not automaticallly copied over to his private calander (as it normally does with Outlook). This causes no end of issues as he never knows which meeting he needs to attend. Again, he could probably copy it from the public folder but that would mean him having to watch his calendars like a hawk and will definitely miss something. He will definitely not think this workaround is an acceptible solution.

Hoping there's a simple solution.
