I have bought a 15 in' MacBook Pro on November 2008. However the overheating problem got worse once I go back to Asia. Even if I open two applications or watching some movies on my latop, the machine itself is starting to get real hot. I have tried using an external fan but it still doesn't work.

Does the machine turn itself off or freeze when this happens? If not, then it's not "overheating" per se. There are safeguards built into the components that protect it from actually overheating.

Modern notebooks (notice how they're no longer referred to as "laptops") are designed to be used on a hard, flat surface like a desk. If you need to use it on your lap, consider a lap desk or a notebook cooling pad.
