I'm planning to buy a Mac Mini as the cheapest way to get into Mac, already having a keyboard, mouse and screen but I'm wondering if a specifc shape of screen is needed for Mac software. I have an Acer V173 which has a screen of about 13" x 10.5" definitely not a widescreen. Will there be a problem or will the OS software somehow adapt to the screen size? I don't understand any of this.

The mini will work with any screen, and its resolution can be adapted to widescreen and standard aspect monitors

I have the 20" mac monitor that I'm using with my macbook. Its a crazy monitor. Just got an imac so I'm gonna sell the monitor. Won't be able to post it in the for sale thread because I'm new and I guess I don't have enough posts but its for sale if anyone needs one. Pm me for pictures and price. Don't want to turn this thread into a for sale thread.
