I am sorry if this has been asked before but I did try to search but nothing fit for what I am doing.

I recently went to OS X Leapord from 10.4.XX I installed a clean OS on a new HD in my G5. Both hard drives are in the computer I can access the old drive while in the new O.S. I can switch back and fourth by changing startup drives so I can get my old stuff. I have not done a migration because I want to be selective on what I am bringing to the new Drive/OS. Two questions.

1. How can I import my Mail from the Old Mac Mail to the new one? I do not see and export option on Mail.

2. Same for the Address Book.

TIA

1. ~/Library/Mail folder - copy from old to new

2. File > Import > Address Book Archive

Great thank you I will try that....

One question, will it also setup all my folders or do I have to do it manually before I import?

What kind of account do you have? Does it use POP or IMAP? Did you use Mail's File > Import command?

sorry it just sat for a few days.

I have POP for my account. I am able to change boot disks and go back to Tiger but there is no export. I have tried multiple types of import but still nothing...
