Best music downloading program?

So what is the best for downloading music?
Ive been using Acquistion, but I get annoyed of it asking to register it, I used X Factor, but didnt like ittoo much.
and I heard to stay away from Limewire.

So, whats good?

I use Limewire to download uncopyrighted music. :eek: So I don't see what the problem is with Limewire.

Someone toldme limewire was bad for macs, I dont know why, but doesnt it have a lot of **** on it?
like the one for pc, has a ton of viruses and spyware

Limewire doesn't contain anything malicious

Only way to tell is if the band allows downloading of music which 99% of bands don't

i have found that free ipod thing a million times, that really pisses me off

Oh, yes. I now learned that if I want to download the video "Barney and Friends", it's not going to be no 107kb video file.

I dont use limewire, most of the music on it is 99% of the time is encoded too low.
I use bit torrent and download full albums, high quality at once.

Ok, I don't know much about my apple yet, and I know even less about bit torrents. Do you have to pay for bit torrents?? How is it different from normal file sharing programs?

bt is totally free, really fast, and you can get almost anything you want, great quality.

Where would you recommend i start becuase everything I looked up on the net says I have to pay. All of the links on the link about are for pc.

versiontracker.com, macupdate.com, choose a client/app, I like to use the original bit torrent app, then there are sites where you download torrent files from and put into bit torrent. it shouldnt charge, thats most likely a site for torrents that tries to charge.
