First of all i have a Imac g5 powerpc. running on osx 10.4.8
Okay. so i have 2 problems. This morning (after turning it off properly last night) i boot it up. The apple sign came on, and then the loading bar. however the loading bar cut off halfway through and a flcikering blue screen with a cursor came on instead. I rebooted but to no success!
Problem 2. I am a complete mac novis, and basically no how to do the "basics". I read up about reinstalling, and so inserted my disc and held down the c key once pressing the reboot button. I have tried this many times, including holding down the alt button aswell but nothing shows? it just goes back to the blue screen? Im not too sure whether this is the cause but i am using a standard keyboard instead of a genuine apple one. Any help will be appreciated?!
