I've had my macbook for about a year now, Mac os 10.5.7. My keyboard has never really had any problems until today, whenever I press the sound keys (mute, or try to make it go louder or quieter) it will arrange the screen like the F3 button is actually supposed to, or it will pull up the widgets. Does anyone know what is happening here?

press the the button in the left hand corner of your keyboard (labelled fn) when you are pressing the volume buttons, and it should work
