Well, there it is! Rumors from reliable sources as stated in the article have released word that Apple are working on a two button mouse! That's something I sure never imagined was going to happen. I was wrong. Heh...

Also, nice updates with the Airport hardwares too!

Well, I'm interested in the two button mouse. But I could live without it two button mouse, if I had to. But I still like to hear switchers complain about the one button mouse. LOL!

OK here you go:

I hate the one button mouse. ;)

Really, I have an Apple pro mouse, and it is a decent mouse, but ultimately had to go with something with more buttons. And it's not like the OS doesn't handle multibutton functionality, is it?

A lot of people feel alienated by the one button mouse. I dont really mind ctrl+clicking, but a right click and a scroll button would be very nice indeed.

Why should apple put out a two button mouse? Some people like the one button, and those that don't buy one with more. My comp came with a puck mouse, and I used that with no problem until I got an optical. Later I went cordless with my Logitech Mx 700. It has seven buttons. Almost everyone (Mac or PC) tosses away the mouse that came with their comp for a better one. I think the mice that Dell sells with their comps still have balls, for god's sake.

Nothing Dell makes has "balls", IMHO. LOL

Yeah, but you can save yourself $3.00 and not get the keyboard and mouse with your system. But why not...they are worth every penny. I have a cabinet full of the stupid things here at work. They do make good "I spilled my coffee in my keyboard and now it doesn't work" or "I accidently crushed my mouse when I slammed my desk drawer" stop-gaps. I usually wait a week before replacing them with something of decent quality, just to learn 'em.

I think apple should do it if they use something like this:
1) keep look the same
2) move pivot point to the center click the top area of the mouse is left click and the bottom area is right click.
3) for scrolling put a tuch sencor so when you drag your finger along the center "strip" of the top area that is scrolling.
