the best way to have multiple workers using one e-mail account?

Hello everyone,

We have a customer service e-mail address which all enquiries, etc comes through to. At the moment this e-mail account is monitoried, replied to etc from one IMac machine using Leopards standard Mail application. Due to the amount of enquiries we get I am going to take on another administration worker.

My question is how is it best for me to have 2 users using the same e-mail address from different machines? How can I avoid the same message being replied to twice, when a message is deleted how can I make sure it is deleted from the other persons inbox too? I suppose you can imagine a few other problems there would be to?

Is there a specialised program or way to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
