Word 2004

As from today - when I click a .doc file to open in Word 2004 - I get a pop-up asking me if I want to Convert the file.

Up until today - it opened.

No - no upgrades etc. Just doesn't work.

have you tried clicking on a .doc file, click File>Get Info> in the get info window, click where it says open with>make sure it says M$ word. also, if that doesnt work, try deleting words preferences.
