Hi all,

I need to transfer my Custom Printer Presets to some more macs also using Leopard however I've searched google and these forums and I can't find out where they are saved on my mac. I've read tutorials on how to transfer it using a com.apple.print.custompresets.plist file in /<home>/Library/Preferences/

But that appears to be 10.4, that files is not in 10.5

Cheers.

That file exists on my Leopard installation.

Did you look using the Terminal, or just Finder?

If the latter, try this:

1. Open Terminal
2. Type:

cd ~/Library/Preferences

3. Type:

ls com.apple.print.custompresets.plist

4. If it doesn't error out and shows that file name, then you have it.

This file exists but when I open it in textedit it doesn't show any of my custom settings. I've even tried moving this file over to another computer to see if it works but it doesn't.
