Powebook G4 Titanium Heat

I am scared, my G4 feels very hot. i don't want to break this beautiful machine?

I am blowing a fan on it as we speak?

Is this me or does the TIBOOK have heat issues?

Download temperature monitor and let us know how hot. Mine gets very hot if it's on my lap or the arm of the chair, make sure you have good ventilation underneath.

Titanimu too hot

I am presently running at 111 Farenheight.
Sometimes it's hotter; it leaves spots on my legs that look like sunburn.

Maybe there's just a dust pile-up in the fan...
Ever opened up an iBook?

By the way, at this point you should consider placing it on a table or a book of some sort.

Yes, I work on a tabletop usually.
Sometimes I work on a train where I use a newspaper as a buffer.

My hard drive temperature is presently 115 Degrees.

This is normal operating behavior.

Contrary to popular belief and use, they are not 'laptops'.
Apple (and other computer manufacturers) advise that portable computers shouldn't be used on your lap and definitely not on bare skinned legs.
