I connected my ViewSonic NX2232w monitor to my mac mini (G4 - 10.3) and it will not detect the proper resolution (1680x1050). The closest the display preferences gave me was 1920 x 1080, which enables me to function, however it cuts off about a quarter of an inch from the bottom of my screen. Which is also very strange because isn't a resolution supposed to just distort to fit the screen? (So right now I can only see half of my dock).
