Does anyone know if there exists a 2.0 adapter that will allow me to connect my iPhone 3G to my iMac with a 1.1 USB port. Up until the other day I was lucky, then I downloaded the new version of iTunes and now I can't sync my iPhone with my iMac. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

Why not just downgrade back to the older version of iTunes?

I think that the iPhone 3.0 software requires the latest version of iTunes.

I don't think you can add USB 2.0 if your motherboard doesn't natively support it (i.e. has a USB Enhanced 2.0 controller). Even if you could add USB 2.0 ports, the speed will still be USB 1.1 because the motherboard doesn't have the capacity to allow 2.0 bandwidth speeds.
