iPhone mail sync issue - IMAP Account

Hi there,

I have recently setup my IMAP mail account on my MacBook using the Mail app. For some reason this account will not synch with my iPhone when I connect it to iTunes. I'm getting the below error message:

"iTunes could not synch mail account to the iPhone "**account name**" because an error occurred remapping record identifiers"

It asks to try syncing again, which doesn't work. The account is working fine in the Mail application but I really need my mail on the iPhone.

Anybody got any ideas ?

on the Info pane of the iPhone's settings in iTunes, I checked Mail Accounts down in the Advanced section, so it replaced the info on the iPhone with the latest Mac settings. Next sync, no remapping error!
