PLEASE HELP Ipod Touch Screen Non responsive

I can turn the ipod screen on and it looks fine, i just cant slide to unlock. Its a 16gb second gen ipod touch and all the buttons work the touch screen just isnt working. I tried restoring and no help.

please let me know what to do. thanks
