I've just bought a wonderful 17" Macbook Pro and I'm trying to transfer files (music, photos etc.) from my old iBook G3 on to the new machine. The problem here is that my iBook's screen doesn't work any more so I can't see what I need to transfer.
I've been told that you can either take out the HDD and put it into an external case OR (and maybe easier) use target disk mode to get the files.
My question is this: Is there a cable i.e. firewire to firewire or firewire to USB that I can buy to use for this transfer?
Any advice would be warmly welcomed
