PowerBook G4 15" - RAM issue

Hello, I recently purchased 1GB of RAM for my PowerBook G4 15" and it works perfect and clearly improved my computers performance.

But after i installed the new stick of RAM when i start the computer it no longer makes the "Apple Start Up Noise"

Anybody know anything about this? Or anybody had the same problem?

It's not a huge issue it's just nice to hear the sound when i start my Mac.

It's my computers way of saying "Hellooooooooooooooooooo"

Didn't Work... Do you know anything else???

i would make sure that your volume is not muted when shut down and i would also reset the PMU
