Airport Card Not Installed

hi..i am running an ibook g4 with the newest software. everything was fine then my computer crashed, (for only the second time ever in 4 years) it came up with the sign saying you have to shut your computer off and restart in all different languages. so i did. when it started back up, my airport card says it is not installed. it will not let me turn it on, or anything.. i have looked for some solutions but have come up with nothing. anyone have any help. please.

Try doing a PRAM reset.

Turn the machine off. Turn it back on and immediately press and hold Command + Option + P + R. Continue holding until you've heard the system chime twice. Then release.
