Is iStumbler an accurate measure of signal strength?

That iStumbler program is a little crazy I think...

What is more accurate, the Airport status showing full strength or that 3rd party application? I just installed the new airport extreme and it seems like its the same exact singal as the old dome shaped one I had! I feel like the speed is a bit quicker but just trying to understand why that program shows such low signal.. :\

I found iStumbler to be next to useless. Take a look at AP Grapher.

cool thank you. It was pissing me off! I was like come on, 23%!! It's going through one floor! haha. The airport shows 4 bars as well, so I guess as long as that is full I'm ok..
