Program like iCal?

I'm looking for a type of program that I could use to jot down notes and make lists and have a calendar. Does anyone know if a program like this exists?

If you have something against iCal, how about Mozilla Sunbird? I don't know if it supports notes or lists though.

Meh I like iCal quite a lot, but I heard about better programs somewhere. Back then, I didn't need them and didn't bother reading about them. But now I need one and I'm wishing I had read them!
